On the occasion of the Motoraduno in 2016 to mark the 95th Anniversary of the founding Moto Guzzi the second edition of the book "Guzzi, l'idea che ha cambiato Mandello" (Guzzi, the idea that changed Mandello) was presented.

It is in two volumes, written in Italian with an English summary at the end of each of the chapters. The package, in addition to the book, contains the “Itinerari Guzzi” in Italian or English version and “Itinerari della memoria” (Memorial Itineraries). They are packaged in a red shopper. A wonderful gift for friends, clients or members of associations.

The first volume, which contains many materials and previously unpublished testimonies, covers the story of Carlo Guzzi and his family, of his passion for motors, the birth of the enterprise, the various stages of production and development of the company, and the competitions and events that involved Moto Guzzi and Mandello. It is the result of a great collective effort over a 10 year period (670 pages, 1200 photos, and unpublished documents); it contains photos, postcards and documents, from as early as the '20s and '30s, that make it different and much richer than the first edition.

The second
volume instead deals with the various aspects of life of Mandellesi linked to the initiatives promoted by the factory It covers the many sports and leisure activities, housing, social, health, cultural and economic benefits offered to employees. In addition there are chapters on the history of the motorcycle rallies, many curiosities, the important people who have visited the factory, the works of art, exhibitions, films and more.

The two
volumes are the result of decades of research, which has collected about two thousand five hundred images and documents, distributed in more than 1,300 pages. The work was made possible thanks to the contribution of many employees' families, and of Italian and foreign Guzzi enthusiasts.
